Dengue Cases down - DOH

Numbers of the carriers of dengue goes down in the first Five (5) months of 2017.

Department of Health (DOH) announced it while visualizing ASEAN Dengue Day.

If we base on the datas of Department of Health, there are 35,793 cases of dengue in the whole country from January to May 20, 2017.

Dengue cases are more often in

Central Visayas - 15.5%
Central Luzon - 13%
National Capital Region : 12.2% SOCCSARGEN : 11.1%

There are 207 deaths because of that disease that you can get once you have been bitten by a mosquito.
