ARMM Governor will establish a "tent city" on Lanao.

Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao(ARMM) will establish a "tent city" for all the evacuees of Marawi.

As per ARMM Governor Mujiv Hataman, the purpose of the tent city is to make the people comfortable because evacuation centers does not have enough space and it will minimize the risk of spreading diseases caused by congestion in that place.

This is the reason why the regional government wants to establish the "tent city" between Marawi City and Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur.

Recently, there are 200,234 residence that evacuate from Marawi City to evacuation centers on the nearby cities.
